Becoming Human Again

Well I am very happy to report that after 3 weeks of pain, I am starting to feel human again. I actually slept well last night for the first time in a really long time and feel a lot like my old self. We took the gauze out of the open wound this morning and so now it is just a matter of it sealing itself up. Isn't the body an amazing thing?

We had the most amazing opportunity on Wednesday night to go to a live endowment session at the Oquirrh Mountain Temple for my very best girlfriend, Ashley Crapo. We have never been to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple before and it is so beautiful! The session was incredible and it was so much fun to see Ashley and her family so happy. We went out to Olive Garden afterwards and had a spectacular meal. It was just a really wonderful time all around.

Yesterday was my brother Jeremy's 17th birthday. I cannot believe that he is already 17 years old! Before we know it he will be leaving on his mission. I definitely think I could wait a while before that happens. :) Jeremy is the sweetest teenage boy you will ever meet. He is so dedicated and caring and is the kind of person you know you can always depend on. He makes my life so much more enjoyable and it makes me so happy to know how much of a help and support he is to my mom. We love you Jeremy! We went to Olive Garden (his choice) AGAIN for his birthday dinner. LOL. It was still great the 2nd time!

We are doing well living and working hard. Despite our trials, we continue to feel the hand of the Lord in our lives. We love you all and hope you are doing well!
