Christmas Tree 2010

I mentioned a while ago that my mom, sister and I were redoing our trees this year. Little did we know how big this project was actually going to be. We bought all of the supplies, had my Grandpa cut the wood, painted, sanded, put on the vinyl, tied on the ribbons, and everything. But... in the end it was worth it because the trees turned out so cute. It is really hard to get a good picture of a Christmas tree, especially in a room with bad lighting, but here is the best I could do:

There are words all over the tree that say things like Believe, Faith, Joy, Hope, Love, Family, and Peace.

This was REALLY hard to take a picture of - sorry for the poor quality. But there are various pictures throughout the tree like this one that tell the story of Christ's birth found in Luke 2.

Here is one of the vinyl blocks in a close up shot. Emily Hill at JanDee Crafts did the vinyl for us. She was super fast, the vinyl was the BEST vinyl I have ever worked with and it was SOOO affordable! If you want vinyl, contact her! Thanks Emily!

I am very happy with the way the tree turned out. Maybe next year we can get a bigger tree but I like what we have for this year.

Love, Shayla
