We have been so blessed with the people we have been working with through this process of buying our house. Besides our wonderful families and friends who have been so supportive, we have had some amazing people on our "team."
Doug Freiss with Remax Results was our real estate agent. He has been a friend of my family for years and we knew we could trust him to take care of us - and boy did he ever! We felt like our home buying process was so important to him. He was always there to answer questions and willing to work around our crazy schedule so that we could see homes - even late into the night. He always responded promptly and got things taken care of at every turn, all the while being friendly, encouraging, and helpful.
Diana Rosenkrantz and the people at Republic Mortgage helped us get our loan. No matter who we talked to or worked with at Republic the people were SOOOO nice! Courteous, accommodating, and always available to answer questions, plus they got things done quickly so that we didn't need to worry.
We were also extremely fortunate to buy a house from the most AMAZING sellers! Richard and Michelle Smolik are such amazing people. They have lived in what is now our house for the last 30 years. We had the opportunity to have them walk us through the house and show us how things work and the things that they loved about living there. And if that wasn't enough... we found this waiting for us when we walked into our house for the first time after it being officially ours:
The little notebook sitting in front is page after page of addition things we may want to know about the house and numbers we can call if we need anything. And, not only were there treats for us - they even put little yogurt bites in the basket for Abrielle. Michelle Smolik made sure that the carpets were cleaned after they moved out with an allergen blocker because she knows I am allergic to dogs (which they have) and they even made sure to tell us the color of the paint on the walls and that there is an extra gallon of it in the garage if we need to do any touch ups!!!! AND there are also a whole bunch of cleaning products sitting on the counter to help us with the move in and getting everything to be neat.
I was in such shock once Doug gave us our keys and left us in our house. I just wanted to cry with absolute joy. It is so wonderful to know that, despite the challenges of this world and some of the people in it, there truly are some incredible people out there that CARE.
We have been so blessed. We are so grateful for this new opportunity to grow closer as a family. What a neat experience it will be to learn, love, and grow in a new place, in our own home.
Much Love! The Bentley Family

I totally understand that joy! That almost exactly what happened with Brandon and I with our condo! It was amazing! Isn't it amazing what the lord does and how he plans things out when you are just at the last brink and don't think things would work out the way you planned...then they work out better than you would have been able to plan! I am so excited for you!
Love,
