One Third of a Year with a BEAUTIFUL BABY!

Our beautiful girl is now four months old! Her appointment went great yesterday and she is now 13.45 lbs (45 percentile), 24.33 inches long (52 percentile), and her head is 16.4 inches in circumference (68 percentile)! She is pretty average, just like when I was pregnant although we are sure she will be very smart with her bigger head. :-) She was adorable with the nurse. She was smiling at her and the nurse was just smitten with her.

The doctor has recommended that we wait to start her on fruits and vegetables until she is 5 - 6 months old. Because I am allergic to so many things it would be better for Abrielle to start later so she has a better chance of not reacting to things. We're going to do a bit of rice cereal for the next month in her bottle and maybe a bit spoon fed and see how she is doing next month!

In other EXCITING news we got word a few days ago that we have been approved for a grant that will cover Jake's school expenses for Fall 2009 semester and Spring 2010! We have been praying very hard for this blessing and are so grateful to everyone who has been praying with us!
