Here is our cute little munchkin at 9 1/2 weeks old! Where does the time go!? Sears and Kohls are having big spring sales right now and so (of course) I had to go get her some new outfits! SOOOO cute!Okay, so funny story. It never occured to me that people would pronounce her name wrong! I thought it was pretty self explanatory but everyone at the doctor's office kept calling her ABE-REE-ELLE. Just for clarifications sake, it is AH-BREE-ELLE. Like the "a" in "apple." You wouldn't say AYE-PLE! ;-)
So here are the stats from her appointment: 9.5 lbs, 22 inches long, 15.4 in head circumference. That puts her in the 10% for her weight, 27% for her height, and 49% for her head. She is just a petite little thing! She still fits right on the bottom of the curve so her doctor wasn't worried at all. Ideal weight for her height is 10.3 lbs. so she is just a little bit lighter. Everywhere we go people comment about how little she looks. People even ask me if she was a Preemie baby! lol. So funny! She gets longer and longer, but not a whole lot rounder in the middle. We'll see if that stays the same! The doctor said that she is more alert than most babies her age and we are having so much fun watching her follow us around with her eyes and find our faces. She has the most adorable smile too!
We're doing well - still waiting to get back home. We're being optimistic and saying the project will be done mid-May.... :-(

wow, our babies are jsut about the same stats at the 2 month check up! people always tell me how small she is but since my girl was only 5lb 4oz at birth i think she is huge!
