Today is the day. We didn't hear back from the sellers yesterday and it is to the point that it is just taking too long. If we don't hear back from them today with a definite answer our real estate agent is going to tell them that we are walking away from the deal.
We are at peace with this decision. If things don't work out we are still in a wonderful place surrounded by wonderful and loving people. We have learned so much through this process and will be much better educated next time around. We will probably continue to casually look at houses, but without the incentive of the $8000 tax credit there really isn't any rush.
If things do work out we will soon be in a new place, still surrounded by wonderful and loving people.
I am so grateful to know that the Lord is looking out for us and will take care of us. No matter what happens today, I know that it is the right thing.

Sorry about the news (or lack of it). To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if the 8k tax credit is extended. There have been several rumors that it will be extended. Good luck...
