Fail?

Blogger fail? Probably so. Honestly... I really just don't have the time or the motivation. Why is today different? I have the flu and I am lying in bed. Yup. That is what it takes to get me to update this thing now.

Here is my brief synopsis of the last month:

JAKE
~Now works for the Distribution Services at the LDS church. Much less stressful for him and the management is a lot nicer. He is looking into getting into the IT department but the positions are part-time...
~Taking the Fall off of school and is absolutely LOVING the break!
~Recently disassembled both of our laptops to install new CPUs. Both laptops are still functioning and running better than ever. :-)

~Still Ward Mission Leader.
~Only a few pounds away from his weight loss goal of hitting 200 lbs. Since he made a pact with himself that he wouldn't eat candy until he hit it he is pushing pretty hard right now around this time of year with the biggest candy holiday coming soon...
~Gave Shayla a Food Processor for 5 year anniversary. Much rejoicing!

SHAYLA
~Still teaching piano 5 days of the week.
~Still in school. Trying not to drown in homework. Doing well in all classes including nutrition (amazingly). Only 6 weeks left of the semester!
~Completed the 5k for the American Heart Association and the 10k for Operation61 to raise money to help children being exploited in sex trafficking. Injured heel... running is on hold while it heals. (No pun intended.)
~Recently became a member of Gold's gym. Attend 5:00 am classes - Crossfit, Powerflex, Cycling. Loving it!
~Gospel Doctrine Teacher.
~Gave Jake Bloons TD 5 for 5 year anniversary. Much rejoicing!

ABRIELLE
~Got another haircut. A-line. Short, simple, adorable.
~Will be a ladybug for Halloween this year. Just like last year. If it ain't broke...
~Still attending preschool and still loving it.
~HUGE capacity for imagination and pretending. Usually manifested in, "No Mom! I'm not Abrielle! I'm a horse!"
~Loves watching 5 minute segments of movies before insisting on switching to another movie.
~Addicted to chocolate milk. Great incentive for potty training.
~Very stubborn, very defiant, very funny, very loving.
~Nathan's best friend.
~Primary in 2 months.

NATHAN
~Got 6 teeth at a time with a head cold resulting in a lot of pain and misery for the whole family including impetigo for the poor boy.
~Followed up with the arrival of 4 more teeth.
~Insists of feeding himself. Results in 10x the cleanup for mommy and daddy and a very happy, messy boy.
~Loves books. Usually carries one around the house to be read to.
~Abrielle's best friend.
~Thinks that everyone, especially those that are smaller than him, are his personal pillows that must be flattened and laid on.
~Happy, smiley, giggly.
~Curly blonde hair.
~Will be a Super Hero for Halloween.
~Nursery in 2 months.
